Welcome to the wonderful world of Moreland Photography!! You will learn so much in this three hour workshop that you will actually amaze yourself with the photos you take. We'll build your confidence and show you how to be bold an creative in taking pictures!
In our intro to photography workshops, we meet at an old historic home in Roswell. We don't just meet in an average Joe classroom. On the grounds of a giant historical home, we'll start with the classroom portion. Then we'll roam the estate including beautiful old English gardens. Rain is never a worry because we also shoot on their giant wrap around porch. For the first portion of the workshop, we help you find all the settings on your camera, how to change them, what they're for. We'll teach you the technical part of shooting your pictures in Manual Mode.
As close to a one-on-one lecture can be, we'll have a team of up to 3 Professional Photographers to help answer questions, set up your camera, and help your photography progress.
What sets us apart from other photography workshops comes next. We go out on the grounds of this antebellum historic home and YOU do the shooting. We provide models, and help get your settings at a good starting point. Then we let you get creative! Three instructors are always with the group, helping students on a one-on-one base, while also instructing the class as a whole.
If that wasn't enough, we believe learning goes past the act of taking pictures. You'll send in pictures you took during the workshop, and we'll give you feedback on the images! What could have made it better technically, maybe a suggestion to get the image to look more creative, and often times, praise for taking amazing photographs!
You'll receive an eBook full of knowledge. Upon registration, we'll email you the eBook for you to read at your leisure. Many students choose to print it out and bring it to the workshop as a guide to also take notes in. This eBook is over 30 pages! It's not just an outline of the workshop. We go into detail about with step by step guides of everything you'll learn in the workshop. From the technical aspect to specific pointers on posing and getting 'the' shot.
We believe you can't learn everything in a day. That's why our workshops don't end with the finish of the three hour workshop. We'll send you a link to send in the photos you took, edited or unedited, and we'll send you video feedback! The second video we'll send you will be a quick overview of what you learned in the workshop, complete with images of the same models and lighting situations you photographed!
We are people photographers, but the techniques you learn in our Introduction and Intermediate classes can be applied to all areas of photography; whether you're a sports photographer, product photographer, you love landscapes, or you just want to take better images of your children. We'll teach you how to capture timeless moments with your digital camera. Regardless of your specific passion of photography, this workshop gives you the tools and foundation to apply in every area of the photographic arts.
