Proven success as a photographer
Since 2005 I've been a full time photographer and have moved my business through three different geographic and economic markets. During this time, I've topped six figures in earned revenue as a full time photographer. My national reputation, built through client and photographer referrals is based on art and personal service. My work has been published in The Knot, Brides Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens, and PDN, without any advertising dollars invested. I've received Bride's Choice Awards from The Knot and WeddingWire without an incentive to refer program, and I was the first professional wedding vendor nominated by brides and editors to be a featured wedding professional on Wedding Bee Pro.
Dedication to the photography industry
For the last 15 years, I've dedicated myself to learning and practicing the art and technical sides of photography. I've been invited to teach workshops for Pictage Users Groups, OSP Indy, Mystic, Inspire Boston, PictageU, Cultural Organization of Lowell, Hartland's Cromaine Public Library, and Boys & Girls Club. Much of what I've learned along the way I've also contributed freely to PhotoLovecat.com and by mentoring photographers through Thirst Relief fundraisers. In the past two years I've mentored four up and coming photographers through my own in-studio internship program and am regularly hired to consult for other professional photography businesses.
Commitment to your sustainable success
More importantly, I've been where you are now. I've made mistakes, overcome economic and personal challenges, and am successful as a photographer, mentor, and creative entrepreneur. I will help you identify smarter business solutions to help you put your own ideas into action for a sustainable and successful photography business that helps you create the life you've always wanted. I will share working solutions that I've already tested on my own business, to help you overcome the obstacles that could make or break your business now and in the future. I want you to be successful for the health and sustainability of our industry as a whole, but also because I know how incredibly rewarding it is to make a living that is focused on having the freedom each day to feel inspired and passionate about doing what you love.
