Dan Ablan Bio:

Dan Ablan is a member of the PPA (Professional Photographers of America), as well as WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Professionals International). Additionally, Dan is a member Children & Family Photographers of America and recently was accepted into the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep organization.

He has photographed for corporations such as Abbott Labs, United Airlines, Coldwell Banker, and recently, reference photography for Digital Domain’s visual effects for the movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” Dan Ablan is also the author of 13 books on computer graphics and imaging, his latest book has just been released. It is the revision to Ben Willmore’s series – Photoshop CS4 Studio Techniques, from Peachpit Publishing and Adobe Press. Dan has been photographing since the early 1980s and studied Photojournalism and Broadcast Journalism at Valparaiso University. Dan’s daily work includes photography, 3D animation, as well as photographic and computer software training through 3D Garage.com.
