Many of you have been asking for more info on social media and marketing, and I couldn't think of anyone better than one of Smug's all time favorite speakers to share his ideas with us. If you have never been to a John Mireles event, you are missing out! and now a note from John Mireles...
Although I've won a few awards, worked with a lot of pretty cool clients and
shot my share of of fun jobs, I sometimes wish that I'd chosen the life of a
guitar hero. Fortunately for all of us, I stuck with photography since my
guitar playing and singing just gets the neighborhood cats angry. Still, I love
expressing myself through my music - and my photography.
I've been a photographer for 20 years now though it seems like not long ago I
was a wide-eyed young photographer getting started in my parent's garage. Since
then, I've shot big budget advertising, high-end weddings, magazine editorial and
family portraits for people ranging from the everyday to some of the wealthiest
in the world. I've made most every mistake a photographer can make and dealt
with more challenges than I'd wish upon anyone else. My goal in teaching
is to help others think big and live out their dreams. Unlike many teachers
who've only been shooting a handful of years, I've seen the ups and downs of
business and have a pretty good idea of what it takes to thrive over the long
run.
I look forward to meeting you and hopefully making a difference in your career!
As Per usual, this event is FREE, Parking is Free, and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. Mix and Mingle at 6:30, John starts promptly at 7:00.

Because of the nature of all workshops and seminars, there are NO REFUNDS once your seat has been purchased. Please check your schedule before signing up to ensure you can make the event. If you can not make the event, we can transfer your ticket to another attendee to be named by you or transfer your ticket to another city/date. If the event is cancelled or rescheduled for any reason, a refund will be issued by the instructor within 5 business days.
