This workshop is open for all skill levels. We will help you get started with the basics of lighting and posing, if that's what you feel you need the most from us. If you are a more advanced photographer, we hope to encourage you to expand on your skill set and dive into your artistic side. There will be great photo opportunities for everyone at all skill levels, and we know you will walk away with some new ideas and techniques to put to use in your own photography.
We are inviting everyone from each of our now 6 PPG cities and also sending invitations through both Marilyn and I's newsletters and email bases. The classroom is limited in size, so we are only able to allow 35 RSVPs into this workshop, please don't hesitate if you wish to join us on this fun weekend in Asheville this upcoming March!
We are posting this first, very early to our Meetup groups, in order to allow you the first opportunity to save your spot. I'm also allowing anyone who wishes to reserve their place now to pay only a deposit of $50 and then the remaining balance by Feb. 3rd. The price of $179 is only for those of you who have not become a PPG member yet on our new membership based website. PPG Members can RSVP for this workshop for only $129, that's a $50 savings. These kind of savings are the biggest benefit to being a member of our Portrait Photography Group. Both, Silver and Gold Members, receive discounts on events and workshops that PPG organizes or hosts.
Please take a moment to sign up at: www.portraitphotographygroup.com
The hotel reservations should be made by Feb 17th ( 828.684.1213 ), to lock in your discounted room rate of $79 . Please tell the desk it is for aMarilyn Sholin Fine Art workshop being held there on the 3rd and 4th of March. Some of us will be arriving on Friday and the discount is good for both nights. Let us know if you are coming in the night before and we will post a fun event to do together, perhaps dinner or a photo walk in downtown Asheville.
