Carlos Austin Bio:

Carlos Austin is a third generation photographer who was born in Mexico City in 1954. He studied the Arts at Minneapolis College of Art and Design from 1974-1975, as well as at Kunstakademie in Duesseldorf, Germany from 1985-1987, where he studied under artist and professor Nan June Paik. Carlos furthered his studies in photography at Austin Community College from 1993-1994. Having spent most of his life traveling and living in many different countries, he has finally chosen Austin, Texas as his home with his wife and photography partner Beth Austin. He currently teaches at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas for informalclasses.org
