Our three hour photographic exploration will allow you to capture some of the many varieties of birds in SW Florida. Joe Fitzpatrick will share his techniques that result in spectacular images of birds both on the flats and in flight. You will be tutored on the camera settings that consistently allow you to capture sharp, will exposed images of this most challenging of subjects.

The workshop starts at our training center where Joe will cover the focusing, metering and camera handling methods that lead to consistently great bird photographs.  The workshop will then proceed to our shooting location where you will practice the techniques you have learned.  At every step Joe will be there to provide personal attention geared to your level of expertise.

This exploration is suitable for photographers of all skill levels. You will need a lens, zoom or prime, of at least 200mm. As with all bird photography, the longer the better. A tripod is recommended and a circular polarizer is suggested.  We will be walking along beaches and in shallow water.  Wear shoes and pants that can get wet.
